Have you ever wondered where street wear designers get inspiration from? That is something I wondered all the time. In 2013 I took my knowledge of street wear and passion for expressing my mind and created my own brand.
As a start up brand I had a lot to learn but I couldn’t wait for it all to start. After days of trying out so many different names one just fit Deadly Bonds.
As my brand begins to grow I love to watch what my street wear peers are doing. Watching brands express themselves through clothing is such an amazing thing. With each new season new brands rise and old ones get new life. 2013 was a great year for street wear and with it being the start of 2014 I have put together a list of 20 brands to look out for this year. 2. Black Scale- For the last 10 years Black Scale has really worked hard to make a name for themselves. In 2013 they took the street wear world by storm and haven’t turned back since. Be sure to keep a lookout for this brand called Bass-A-Holic Kids Streetwear also. They’re a small & privately owned brand from Saint Louis, Missouri that incorporates styles from anime, music, retro video games and are heavily influenced in Tokyo, Japan’s Pop Culture scene. Their catalog is pretty awesome too which has a wide range of stuff from t-shirts to skateboards. Definitely a must see.
