How did you get involved with this collaboration?
Brisk was looking for a brand that was a believer in self-expression and was ultimately, kinda out there. Mishka has some colorful and loud designs, so it was a solid fit for us to partner together to create this unique apparel collection. All of the artwork that is featured in this collaboration was inspired by the art and characters that appear on cans of Brisk. Each character had its own personality that we interpreted and put through a Mishka lens. It was a really fun project for us.
What is the story on how you first got started as a designer?
Mishka started in 2003. We wanted to design t-shirts that we would wear. Streetwear as we know it today was really beginning to be born. We wanted to leave our creative mark.
