What is your position at Benson?
We established the company 6 years ago with Michael, since than I’m the president and Michael is the vice president we worked along the way with some designers but at the moment I’m doing the collection and Michael doing all sales strategies
I’m working also with a design team,basically I’m the artistic director/designer.
How long have you known you wanted to do what you are currently working on?
My working life started 23 years ago in my family’s company(one of the biggest garment producer in Europe ),since than I was planning to be where I’m am now, I always wanted to be succeed worldwide and there is no better place than New York to achieve this dream.
Why are you passionate about what you do?
I love clothes and since I was a kid I was spending most of money to clothes and always wanted to do the best product which I would love to wear. It’s also important to find your audience, I guess we found ours, it’s a big pleasure to be appreciated by others for what you do.
How did you overcome your own doubts and the doubts of other people?
There are always doubts, I can only work hard, try to find the ways to achieve what I want and insist to continue, it’s not an easy way, what I believe is there are no easy ways to success you can only work hard and hope what yo do is appreciated by your costumer target.
What were some bumps you hit to get where you’re at now?
This business has many different ingredients and if you are missing one that will not work we tried some styles which we were not sure and did not worked ,you have to do whatever you are 100%sure we did work with very good people but also we had very weak partners, I would recommend to try to work alway with the best you can work with all administrative work is as important as the rest, we had problems on the way but we solved by time.
What is one thing you did wrong in the past that you can share with people?
We did many things wrong. 
Always listen to your costumers, you need to combine their needs with your best.
Always deliver the best garment, if you are not sure it’s better not to deliver.
What is a way you got your name out there?
It’s a combination of many things, Michael put us in very best shops, we corrected our mistakes, always work hard to deliver best garment, we analyze our costumer’s needs and prepare our collection accordingly, our price point is affordable.
Is there anything that almost stopped you from doing this?
We are fighters.
Is there anyone in your profession that you admire and/or model yourself after?
Ralph Lauren , Giorgio Armani
How do you continue to perfect your craft?
We will continue to establish direct and strong connections with our audience ,correct our mistakes, do only whatever we are good at and become best, work hard.
How do you envision the future of your product/services?
Our product will be very easy to wear, something you can look cool everywhere and feel comfortable we will use always the best materials, always careful with the price point, we want to be accessible for everybody.
What’s some advice you can share for anyone who wants to pursuit what you are doing?
They have to decide what they want first, I recommend to do only what they are good at, there are many people around, there is big competition and you an only be able to achieve if you are better, always consider the advice of your costumers, there is no way that you can satisfy everybody but if you can find a way in between it will be very helpful on the way always work to deliver the best, if you have doubts your costumers will not like it.
You guys have a great website. How much of your business is driven by online buyers?
Of course it is very important for us, in the modern world we all in internet and get information from the web, it’s very easy for our costumers to find us in web and see the collection etc.
